Bieber Concert Kit Held In ArgentinaJustin Bieber’s concert equipment has been impounded in Argentina following a legal fight with a photographer.
According to reports, Argentinean judge Maria Giraudi has ordered the impounding of the Canadian teen pop star’s kit while photographer Diego Pesoa’s lawsuit is being decided on.
The photographer is seeking damages after the singer’s bodyguards allegedly hit him and caused damage to his equipment.
According to the photographer’s lawyer, Bieber ordered his bodyguards “to beat (Pesoa) and then got back in his van.”
The Agence France-Presse is reporting that a source has told them that Argentina’s customs agents “impounded for 30 days all Bieber's goods at the Ezeiza International Aiport: audio equipment, sound, lights and the clothes he used in his show.”
Furthermore, the report quotes the source as saying that this is the first time the country’s customs has impounded belongings of a foreign artist.
Meanwhile, Bieber is also accused of leaving a nightclub without paying his bill. The owner of the club Ink has made this accusation.
Bieber also stepped on an Argentinean flag thrown on stage during his concert in Buenos Aires, an incident he later said to be a mistake. He claims that he thought the flag was a t-shirt.
