Vin Diesel And The Rock Pay Tribute To Paul WalkerPaul Walker's "Fast & Furious" co-stars Vin Diesel and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson led the tribute for the 40-year-old actor who died in a car crash on Sunday (Manila time) in California.
The actor was attending a charity event intended to benefit the victims of Typhoon Yolanda in the Philippines when the accident happened on board a Porsche Carrera GT driven by a race car enthusiast friend of his. The car was apparently "acting up" minutes before Paul and his friend took it for a drive test. "Speed" was apparently a factor to the car crash, which saw the Porsche burst into flames.
His fellow artists from all around Hollywood offered their condolences to Paul's family. But none in Hollywood were as much affected as Vin and The Rock. Paul has been with Vin for over 13 years in the franchise while The Rock joined "Fast & Furious 6," which is said to be the most successful out of all the movies.
Vin posted a photo of him and Paul, who he called "brother," on Instagram. He said he will miss the actor and that heaven has gained a new angel.
For his part, The Rock tweeted: "All my strength, love & faith to the Walker family during this heartbreaking time. We find our strength.. in his light. Love you brother."
Paul was survived by his 15-year-old daughter, Meadow.
Zoe Saldana, Liam Neeson and Neil Patrick Harris all took to Twitter to condole with Paul's family and friends.
