Vin Diesel: ‘Fast And Furious 7’ To Debut April 10, 2015Vin Diesel has revealed the release date of the seventh installment of the hit “Fast and Furious 7” franchise.
In a post on Facebook, Diesel said that the next film in the franchise is set to be released April 10, 2015.
The announcement comes after the death of Paul Walker, Diesel’s costar in the franchise lauded as one of main reasons for Universal Pictures’ turnaround.
Diesel made the announcement while posting a photo of him and Walker which he described as “The last scene we filmed together…”
Walker passed away in a fiery car crash in California on November 30. The crash also claimed the life of his friend, fellow entrepreneur and racing enthusiast Roger Rodas who is said to have been driving the Porsche Carrera GT they were in.
Diesel, in the caption to the photo which can be seen below, said, “There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared… in the film we were now completing… the magic captured… and, in just how far we've come…”
Announcing the release date of “Fast and Furious 7,” Diesel said, “P.s. He’d want you to know first,” referring to Walker.
It is unclear how the movie’s makers will incorporate the sudden passing of Walker into the film.
