Infamous Prankster Hits Brad Pitt In The Face At ‘Maleficent’ PremierPrankster Vitalii Sediuk rushed over a fence at the red carpet during the premier of “Maleficent” and reportedly struck Hollywood A-lister Brad Pitt in the face.
According to reports, Sediuk is now being held on a $20,000 bail after the incident which authorities say appeared to be intentional. The Ukrainian man who has been a former reporter is infamous for pranking celebrities on red carpets.
It can be remembered that the 25-year-old was slapped by Will Smith in the past in an incident where the man apparently tried to kiss the actor. Earlier this year, Sediuk also hugged Hollywood superstars Bradley Cooper and Leonardo DiCaprio around the knees at two separate events.
According to CNN, Sediuk – who caused the ruckus at the “Maleficent” premier which was attended by Angelina Jolie, the film’s star and Pitt’s long-time partner and fiancée – has lost his job as a television reporter.
Nonetheless, TIME reports that Pitt managed to also strike Sediuk before the prankster was arrested by the authorities. Pitt now has a temporary restraining order against Sediuk who is now ordered to stay at least 500 feet away from Pitt.
According to Authorities, they still are not certain what Sediuk’s motive was.
