Zanjoe Marudo's "Bromance" Grosses P72.67 Million In Three Weeks

"Bromance: My Brother's Romance," Zanjoe Marudo's first solo full-length film, has broken the records set by "A Moment In Time" and "Must Be Love."

"A Moment In Time" starred award-winning actor Coco Martin and Julia Montes while "Must Be Love" features the loveteam of KathNiel or Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.

Since it opened in Cinemas on May 15, "Bromance" has been consistent in raking in profits. It has already grossed P32.33 million on its first week and P52.84 million in its second week.

It is also one of the top five highest grossing Filipino movies of 2013: "It Takes A Man And A Woman" (P372.02 million), "Bromance" (P72.67 million), "A Moment In Time" (P64.54 million), "Must Be Love" (P60.74 million), "The Bride And The Lover" (P10.4 million) and "Seduction" (P6.59 million).

For the period of May 29 to June 2, the top-grossing movies are: "Fast & Furious 6" (P198 million), "The Hangover Part III" (P26.2 million), "Epic" (P52.4 million), "Bromance" (P76.6 million), "Now You See Me" (P2.9 million), "Star Trek Into Darkness" (P58.8 million), "Jurassic Park" (P2.4 million), "Redemption" (P1.8 million), "Iron Man 3" (P631.4 million) and "The Great Gatsby" (P16.4 million).
