"Pagpag Siyam Na Buhay" Earns P100 Million

"Pagpag Siyam Na Buhay," Star Cinema's entry to the 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival, is now the biggest movie for teen royalties Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo.

The on-screen and possibly off-screen couple ended 2013 on a high note as their teleserye, "Got To Believe," garnered high ratings while their MMFF entry is the third top grossing films in the festival.

"Pagpag Siyam Na Buhay" is the only horror movie included in the festival. Mico del Rosario of Star Cinema revealed that the movie already breached the P100 million mark on December 30.

The movie was co-produced by Star Cinema and Regal Films, and is directed by Frasco Mortiz.

Kathryn, one of the stars in the film, posted on her Twitter and congratulated the staff and crew of the movie.

As for another Star Cinema entry, "Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy," the Vice Ganda-starrer already reached P200 million and is competing with Vic Sotto’s “My Little Bossings” for the top spot.
