It Takes A Man And A Woman Grosses P300mThe latest John Lloyd Cruz – Sarah Geronimo film "It Takes A Man And A Woman” is on track to break box office records in the country after it has already grossed P300 million to date.
According to a report from ABS-CBN, the film is set to claim the title of the second highest grossing Filipino movie after just a short two weeks from being released.
The revelation was made by Mico del Rosario, Star Cinema advertising and promotions manager, on Twitter today.

The second highest grossing Filipino film of all time is "The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin", a film that stars Vice Ganda, which made P331 million for its run in theaters two years ago.
Praybeyt Benjamin was directed by Wenn V. Deramas.
The highest grossing Filipino movie is another Deramas-directed film, “Sisterakas”, which made P391 million during its run last year.
According to ABS-CBN, the three films – “Sisterakas,” “Praybeyt Benjamin,” and “It Takes A Man And A Woman” – are all co-productions of Star Cinema and Viva Films.
The two entertainment companies will be given the Most Popular Film Producers award at the 44th Box-Office Entertainment Awards.
Cruz will also be given the Box Office King award during the ceremony.
“It Takes A Man And A Woman” is the third installment of the Miggy Montenegro and Laida Magtalas franchise. The first two films, also directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, are "A Very Special Love" (2008) and "You Changed My Life" (2009).
