"Maalaala Mo Kaya" And "The Voice Of The Philippines" Dominate Weekend Viewing

Nikki Gil's "Maalaala Mo Kaya" episode last Saturday (June 22) garnered a rating of 36.22%, making it the most watched program nationwide during that period.

The story focuses on two sisters as the elder one (Gil) tries to forgive her younger sister, Agnes, for having an affair with her husband. Agnes was sexually molested by her brother-in-law while her elder sister was abroad working for them. In the long run, however, she fell in love with her sister's husband.

Gil's character forgave her, but Agnes eventually decided to live with her brother-in-law because she already fell in love with him.
