"Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala" And "Apoy Sa Dagat" Get Highest Ratings On June 28ABS-CBN's "Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala" and "Apoy Sa Dagat" reached its highest television ratings to date when the former breached the 30% mark and the latter entered the 27% territory.
On June 28 (Friday), Kantar Media said "Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala" got 31.2% nationwide, its highest to date. "Apoy Sa Dagat," on the other hand, received 27% of the audience share during that timeslot.
But for primetime, ABS-CBN's "Juan Dela Cruz," which stars Coco Martin and Erich Gonzales, still tops ratings with 35.1%.
"Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala," which premiered two weeks ago, is the comeback teleserye of Judy Ann Santos. She's starring with Sam Milby, KC Concepcion, Coney Reyes, Susan Africa and Tirso Cruz III. It tells the story of Anessa (Santos), an impoverished woman who married Eros (Milby) despite the misgivings of her loving family.
Eros is the son of a smuggling lord (Cruz), and is constantly harassed by his father because of his perceived weakness. He loves Anessa, but is not willing to stand up for her. He has a chidhood bestfriend, Alexis (Concepcion), who will do everything to break Anessa and Eros apart.
Soon, after they were married, Anessa found out Eros' dark side. He physically, emotionally and sexually abused her, which led to her running away despite carrying his child.
"Apoy Sa Dagat," which stars Angelica Panganiban in a twin's role, will be ending in about a week. Viewers have been waiting for the reunion of Serena and Rebecca, both played by Panganiban.
They took revenge on Adriana (Angel Aquino) for all the things she put them through. Serena, however, still has to suffer for a crime she committed years ago in defense of herself.
