Abs-cbn Tops All Tv Stations In March As It Ruled Both Daytime And Primetime TvFilipino households, both in rural and urban areas, are still subscribing to ABS-CBN shows.
The Kapamilya network had a 41-percent share of the audience, 10 points ahead of its rival, GMA Networks.
This is based on the survey of Kantar Media.
Some 2,609 urban and rural homes were surveyed to come out with the results.
ABS-CBN is the ruling network in the primetime slot, from 6PM to 12 midnight. This is the time slot where Filipinos are tuned in on their televisions and advertisers put a lot of investments in.
The Kapamilya network reached an audience share of 47 percent, a 17-point lead over GMA Network's 30 percent.
ABS-CBN also ruled other time slots--from 6Am to 12 midnight. It has an average audience share of 36 percent against GMA's 32 percent. In both afternoon (12 noon to 3PM) and late afternoon (3PM to 6PM) slots, the Kapamilya network is also ruling the airwaves.
It has a staggering audience reach of 38 percent for the afternoon slot compared to GMA's 33 percent. For the late afternoon slot, ABS-CBN has 35-percent audience reach against GMA's 30 percent.
Out of the 15 television programs surveyed, ABS-CBN bags 11 of those shows.
