ABS-CBN'S "Missing You" Tops GMA-7'S "The Greatest Love" On Its Pilot EpisodeABS-CBN debuted its newest Koreanovela, "Missing You," on April 22 with a national TV rating of 14.4%.
It beats GMA-7'S "The Greatest Love," which only got 9.4%. This was based on the figures released by Kantar Media.
"Missing You" stars Asia's most popular actors--Park Yoo-Chun ("Rooftop Prince") and Yoon Eun-Hye ("Princess Hours" and "The Coffee Prince").
It continued the high ratings garnered by "Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw," which aired its final episode last week.
The koreanovela is also a trending topic on micro blogging site Twitter.
The teleserye is about a man longing to reunite with his childhood love. He believed that she will soon return to his loving arms.
Park plays the role of Julius Han while Yoon is Joy Lee.
They were separated by a tragedy 14 years ago. But when they finally see each other, they are still haunted by the ghosts of their past.
Julius became a homicide detective while Joy is now an accomplished fashion designer named Zoe. When they finally met, Zoe tried to keep the truth from Julius who can feel in his heart that Zoe is the woman he has been looking for all this time.
Zoe also wanted to seek revenge for what happened to them in the past.
"Missing You" airs every night after "Apoy Sa Dagat" on ABS-CBN.
