"Eat Bulaga" Gains Lead Back During May 4-5 National TV Ratings

Its been weeks since "Eat Bulaga" led the ratings for noontime shows as "It's Showtime" continues to beat the longest-running noontime show in television.

But according to Kantar Media national TV ratings for May 4 to 5 (Saturday-Sunday), "Eat Bulaga" garnered 15.9% of audience share while "It's Showtime" just got 12.5%.

"Eat Bulaga" featured on Saturday the grand finals of its "That's My Boy" segment.

As for Saturday's evening viewing, Enrique Gil's "Maalaala Mo Kaya" episode topped the programs while "Pilipinas Got Talent" did the same on Sunday. Gil portrayed the life of Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile.

The May 4 episode was part two of the series.

The top 10 daytime and primetime programs on Saturday are as follows:

For daytime, "Eat Bulaga" led with 15.9%, "It's Showtime" (12.5%), "Be Careful With My Heart" (11.2%), "Toriko" (8.9%), "TV Patrol Weekend" (8.6%), "Spongebob Squarepants" (8.5%), "Scan 2go" (8%), "Tropang Potchi/Maynila" (7.5%), "S.O.C.O" (7.4%) and "Startalk" (7.2%).

For primetime, "Maalaala Mo Kaya" got 28%, "Wansapanataym" (27.7%), "Pilipinas Got Talent" (23.7%), "Magpakailanman" (22.3%), "Kapamilya Deal Or No Deal" (17.3%), "Celebrity Bluff" (15.4%), "Vampire Ang Daddy Ko" (14.8%), "Kapuso Movie Night" (11.8%), "Kap's Amazing Stories" (9.2%) and "Toda Max" (9%).

On Sunday, May 5, daytime ratings was ruled by "Mayweather vs. Guerrro" (20.4%), "TV Patrol Weekend" (11.1%), "Born To Be Wild" (10.7%), "ASAP 18" (10.2%), "Matanglawin" (9.8%), "LUV U" (8.4%), "Aha" (8.3%), "GMA Blockbusters" (7.6%), "2013 NBA Playoffs" (7.3%) and "Scan 2Go" (7.2%).

During primetime programs, "Pilipinas Got Talent" ruled with 24.5%, "Gandang Gabi Vice" (23.7%), "Rated K" (21.2%), "Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho" (20.1%), "Goin' Bulilit" (17.5%), "Pepito Manaloto" (15.6%), "Imbestigador" (12.3%), "Landas" (7.3%), "I Bilib" (7%) and "Istorific" (6.9%).
