"It's Showtime" Beats "Eat Bulaga" For May 20-21 TV Ratings

National TV ratings for May 20 and 21 revealed that ABS-CBN's "It's Showtime" has effectively beaten "Eat Bulaga," the longest-running noontime show in television history.

According to the date, "It's Showtime" garnered a rating of 16.4% and 15.4% for the period while "Eat Bulaga" only had 12.1% and 12.2%, respectively.

The two noontime shows have been neck and neck in the race for the top one noontine show on Philippine television, but this latest rating showed "It's Showtime" beating the GMA show with a wider margin.

The survey said that "It's Showtime" segments "Bida Kids," "Tandang Pananong" and "Kalokalike" boosted the show's ratings.

As for primetime and daytime programs, "Juan Dela Cruz" and "Be Careful With My Heart" continue to beat their rivals.

Here are the top 10 daytime and primetime programs for May 20 and 21.

For May 20 (Monday), the top shows for daytime are: "Be Careful With My Heart" (26.1%), "Minute To Win It" (20.5%), "My Little Juan" (17.3%), "It's Showtime" (16.4%), "Wansapanasummer" (15.2%), "Detective Conan" (13.1%), "Eat Bulaga" (12.1%), "Chibi Maruko-Chan" (12%), "Dugong Buhay" (11.7%) and "To The Beautiful You" (11.6%).

For primetime, the top-rating shows are: "Juan Dela Cruz" (32.5%), "Ina, Kapatid, Anak" (30.6%), "TV Patrol" (26%), "Apoy Sa Dagat" (19.9%), "Indio" (19.7%), "24 Oras" (17.5%), "Little Champ" (17.3%), "Mundo Mo'y Akin" (15.9%), "Love And Lies" (12.8%) and "Missing You" (11%).

As for May 21 (Tuesday) daytime results, here are the shows that garnered high ratings: "Be Careful With My Heart" (24.9%), "Minute To Win It" (19.6%), "It's Showtime" (15.4%), "Wansapanasummer" (14.6%), "My Little Juan" (13.9%), "Doraemon" (12.9%), "Chibi Maruko-Chan" (12.8%), "Eat Bulaga" (12.2%), "The Ryzza Mae Show" (12%) and "Bleach" (11.4%).

For primetime: "Juan Dela Cruz" (33.1%), "Ina, Kapatid, Anak" (32.5%), "TV Patrol" (28.2%), "Apoy Sa Dagat" (19.2%), "Indio" (18.3%), "Little Champ" (17.9%), "24 Oras" (16.8%), "Mundo Mo'y Akin" (16%), "Love And Lies" (13.9%) and "Missing You" (11.1%).
