This week, Star Magic unveiled a fresh group of talented artists, including Esang, James Philippe, Jarlo Base, and Diego Gutierrez. The event, held at Noctos Music Bar in Quezon City, marked a significant milestone for these emerging stars as they signed their contracts and officially joined the Star Magic family.
The event, titled Magical Vibes: Star Magic Music Room Contract Signing, was attended by family, friends, and ABS-CBN executives. Key figures like Laurenti Dyogi, the head of Star Magic, and Roxy Liquigan, the head of ABS-CBN Music, were present to show their support for the new artists. The event highlighted the agency’s commitment to fostering new talent and providing a platform for their growth in the music industry.
Esang stood out in The Voice Kids Philippines Season 2 with her powerful voice and stage presence. She was previously mentored by Tony Award-winner Lea Salonga. During the launch event, Salonga spoke highly of Esang, praising her potential in the music industry.
“I am beyond grateful to be standing here in front of you tonight, as a newly launched Star Magic artist,” Esang said. She expressed her thanks to Star Magic for the opportunity to develop as an artist and share her music with a larger audience.
James Philippe and Jarlo Base are also excited to begin their journeys with Star Magic. Both are preparing for upcoming musical projects and performances. James expressed his gratitude, saying, “I am very speechless and thankful to God. Thank you so much po for this opportunity.”
Jarlo, whom Colet of BINI introduced, also shared his excitement. Colet had recommended one of Jarlo’s songs to their fans, praising its sound and message. This endorsement helped to increase Jarlo’s presence in the music scene. “I’m feeling very excited, and honestly, I feel at home… Thank you so much, Star Magic and ABS-CBN,” Jarlo said.
Diego Gutierrez, the brother of well-known actress Janine Gutierrez, is excited to start his career under Star Magic. He expressed his gratitude, saying, “Thank you again Star Magic for this wonderful opportunity. I promise that I will make the most of it, and I’ll keep working hard to become a better artist.”
