Actors Share Supernatural Experiences at Lilim Premiere • PINOYSTOP

At the premiere of the horror film Lilim at The Block SM North in Quezon City, actors Ryza Cenon, Mon Confiado, and Eula Valdez shared their eerie encounters with the supernatural. These stories added a chilling atmosphere to the evening, as the cast discussed their experiences while filming.

Ryza Cenon revealed that she has a third eye, a unique ability that allows her to sense things beyond the ordinary. “When I notice something, I usually ignore it,” she explained. “Sometimes, I apologize to the spirits, telling them we aren’t here to disturb anyone.” Ryza has become used to sensing and even seeing spirits, which she has learned to live with during her career.

Eula Valdez shared a frightening memory from her childhood when she saw floating legs and screamed in fear. “I later realized it was my grandmother,” she said. She also mentioned how she dislikes going to wakes because she believes spirits tend to follow her. One time, she asked her maids about a mysterious figure walking between them, only to find out someone had recently passed in the neighborhood.

Eula also recalled seeing shadows with glowing eyes while filming. She learned to communicate with the spirits, reassuring them they were not causing any harm.

Mon Confiado shared an unsettling experience from his acting career, where he was placed inside a coffin for three different roles. “Every time I get in, I experience a fever,” he said. “I pray, and the fever goes away the next day.” Mon’s experience has left a lasting impression on him.

Lilim, directed by Mikhail Red, follows a brother and sister who seek refuge in an orphanage during a time of unrest. What begins as a safe place soon becomes a nightmare, as they uncover dark secrets. The film offers a unique perspective on horror through the eyes of children and is now showing in cinemas nationwide.
