Filipina drag queen Eva Le Queen is finally at peace with her journey on “RuPaul’s Drag Race: Global All Stars”. In a heartwarming viewing party held in Quezon City on September 6, 2024, Eva, along with fellow Drag Race Philippines queens, watched her elimination for the first time.

Reflecting on her experience, Eva admitted to being hard on herself after the competition. “I’ve been keeping this to myself for almost a year now,” she shared. “Seeing myself like that, it wasn’t that bad.” The viewing party felt like a much-needed closure, akin to ending a relationship. “I want this to mark my time to close that chapter,” she said. “Today, I feel like I’ve broken up with my boyfriend.”

Eva emphasized her refusal to let her Global All Stars experience solely define her.“Right now, I’m holding onto the fact that I won’t be reduced by that title. Have fun, do drag for yourself first, and people will share the happiness with you,” she advised.

As she moves forward, Eva is excited to pursue new dreams. “I feel so relieved because finally, I can move on to the next dream,” she said with tears in her eyes. “This is the closure that I needed, and it’s not such a bad thing.”

Advice for Aspiring Queens

For those aspiring to represent the Philippines on the show, Eva offered valuable advice: “Don’t lose yourself in the process. Always find the joy in doing drag… don’t be boxed with branding. I lost myself along the process, everything was a blur.”

Filled with love and gratitude, Eva is ready for her next adventure. “I am in a room that I know that I’m filled with so much love… finally, on to the next big dream, on to the next big adventure for Eva.”
