Ivana Alawi and Mavy Legaspi left the “Pinoy Big Brother” house after staying for a week. The March 15 episode revisited the first week of “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition.” It features GMA-7 and ABS-CBN stars as housemates, celebrating the show’s 20th anniversary.
In this episode, viewers saw how the housemates completed their first weekly task. The challenge required them to hold big batteries to light up a star inside the house. At first, the housemates worked in pairs, pretending to be like regular batteries. But many pairs couldn’t finish, and only two teams succeeded.
The two successful teams were Ivana Alawi and Ashley Ortega (called IvAsh) and Dustin Yu and Klarisse de Guzman (called DuKla). They completed the task and earned food for all the housemates.
This task was also special for Ivana because it was part of three “gifts” she got while being a special guest. Ivana held the battery for 60 minutes, which not only got the housemates their food but also won P60,000 for a charity.
Ivana also did two other special tasks. She organized a birthday pool party for Josh Ford and gave advice to her chosen housemate, Charlie Flemming.
When Ivana left the house, she spoke with hosts Bianca Gonzalez and Gabbi Garcia, saying, “Hindi ako ready. Sabi ko hindi ako iiyak e” (I wasn’t ready. I said I wouldn’t cry). She was emotional and was greeted by her sister, Mona, outside the house.
Ivana shared that she learned valuable lessons during her stay, like how important it is to be a strong family and love each other.
The episode also hinted that new housemates will be joining the show, and it raised questions about Ashley’s new partner, as she no longer had a duo after Ivana left.
Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition airs on GMA Network at 10 p.m. on weekdays and at 6:15 p.m. on weekends. The season promises an exciting mix of GMA-7 and ABS-CBN stars competing for the title of PBB winner.
