Remember when we practically begged for a sequel to Hello, Love, Goodbye? Well, our cries have finally been heard. Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards, the on-screen power couple, or KathDen, return in Hello, Love, Again. The first movie was such a hit, and fans have eagerly anticipated the next chapter in the story of Joy and Ethan.
Rumors about a sequel have swelled since the first movie took the box office in 2019. But this time, it’s official. Deadline confirmed the news on May 18th, sending KathDen fans butterflies because Hello, Love, Again is set to hit Philippine cinemas on November 13th.
This upcoming movie is even more exciting because it collaborates with GMA Pictures and ABS-CBN’s Star Cinema. These two industry giants are joining forces for the first time to bring us the much-awaited story of Joy (Kathryn) and Ethan (Alden).
If you have yet to see the first Hello, Love, Goodbye, the movie follows the lives of Joy, a Filipina working in Hong Kong, and Ethan, a bartender with dreams of staying in the city. Their paths collide, and sparks fly. But Joy, determined to build a better life in Canada, hesitates to pursue a deeper connection with Ethan. The film ends on a hopeful note, leaving fans yearning for more.
