Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition Unveils New Twist

The latest season of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition has a big twist! This time, housemates will compete in pairs – one from Kapuso (GMA-7) and one from Kapamilya (ABS-CBN). The pairs will face challenges, nominations, and evictions together.

In Wednesday’s episode, during a game called “The Boat Is Sinking,” Kuya, the voice inside the house, announced the twist. He specifically told the housemates that they would team up in pairs and compete as one unit.

“Sila ay magsasanib-pwersa dahil ang kapalaran ng isa ay kapalaran din ng kanyang kasama,” Kuya said, which means that each person’s fate depends on their partner.

The housemates chose their pairs in a game called the “Group Yourself” challenge. At this point, these are the official Kapuso and Kapamilya duos for the season:

  • Charlie Fleming (Sparkle) and AC Bonifacio (Star Magic) – “AcLie”
  • Mika Salamanca (Sparkle) and Ralph de Leon (Star Magic) – “RaMi”
  • Will Ashley (Sparkle) and River Joseph (Star Magic) – “WilVer”
  • Dustin Yu (Sparkle) and Klarisse de Guzman (Star Magic) – “DuKla”
  • Josh Ford (Sparkle) and Kira Balinger (Star Magic) – “KiSh”
  • Michael Sager (Sparkle) and Brent Manalo (Star Magic) – “MEnt”
  • Ashley Ortega (Sparkle) and Ivana Alawi (Star Magic) – “Ivash”
  • AZ Martinez (Sparkle) and Esnyr Ranollo (Star Magic) – “AzNyr”

Ivana Alawi, who is only a houseguest, is paired with Ashley Ortega. Ivana’s stay is limited, which makes the game even more interesting.

In another big surprise, Kuya revealed that there will be two winners this season—one from Kapuso and one from Kapamilya. Surprisingly, this is the first time in the 20-year history of the show that this will happen.

“Sa kauna-unahang pagkakataon sa dalawampung-taong kasaysayan ng aking bahay, isang duo na Kapuso at Kapamilya ang tatanghaling Big Winners ng edisyong ito,” Kuya said.

Meanwhile, as the season goes on, there will be more surprises and challenges. The show airs on GMA Network at 10 p.m. on weekdays and at 6:15 p.m. on weekends.

Without a doubt, with exciting pairings and a new competition format, Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition is set to keep viewers on the edge of their seats. Thus, fans are looking forward to seeing how these pairs will work together to win the game.
