Calling it “the best early Christmas gift we could ever ask for,” Pineda celebrated overcoming her battle with an autoimmune disease. The announcement came on a Sunday, just weeks before Christmas, marking a significant milestone in her health journey. “Clinical remission means that the signs and symptoms of my autoimmune disease are now barely detectable, even if the disease may not be completely cured,” Pineda explained. This progress highlighted her resilience and determination during her medical journey. She first heard the news in November while visiting a doctor in Singapore, who referred to it as a “Christmas miracle.”
“I’m beyond grateful for this gift and for the prayers and support that helped me keep going,” she wrote. Pineda expressed deep appreciation for the love and encouragement she received from family, friends, and fans, emphasizing that their support had made a significant difference.
