The 90s music will be back! The Streetboys, a famous dance group, will be together again after 31 years. This news made everyone excited. Vhong Navarro and Jhong Hilario, two members of the group, talked about their feelings at a press conference.
“It’s been an incredible journey,” said Jhong, his voice filled with excitement. “Thirty-one years have flown by, and we’ve finally decided to reunite. It’s like fate aligned the stars for us.” The popular “It’s Showtime” host shared that the group’s members, including four based overseas, were able to coordinate their schedules for this special occasion.
Vhong echoed Jhong’s sentiments, admitting a mix of joy and melancholy. “It’s bittersweet to think that it’s taken us this long to reunite,” he confessed. “But I’m grateful that we’re finally doing it.” Both Vhong and Jhong emphasized the strong bond shared by the group members, crediting their mentor, Director Chito Roño, for fostering a supportive and trusting environment.
“We never had a formal contract with Direk Chito,” Vhong revealed. “Our agreement was purely based on trust and mutual respect. And even after all these years, we’re still very close.”
The fans are excited about the reunion of The Streetboys. They grew up watching the group perform. Even though it has been a long time, The Streetboys are still popular. SAlthough Sphencer is currently based in London, he will be flying in for the reunion concert.
“I’m so proud of what Sphencer has accomplished,” said Meynard Marcellano, another member of the group. “He’s brought honor to our group. But even with his fame, he’s remained humble and down-to-earth.”
