YG Entertainment to Launch Hunt for Next Filipino K-pop Star in Manila Auditions • PINOYSTOP

YG Entertainment is searching for the next big Filipino talent! The powerhouse label, known for launching global superstars like BLACKPINK, BIGBANG, and 2NE1, will hold auditions in Manila this November. Aspiring artists can seize this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join their roster of stars.

Auditions will happen on November 24, 2024, at ZERØ Studio in Quezon City. The event invites young talents born between 2006 and 2013, aiming to discover and nurture the next generation of Filipino K-pop idols.

Participants can showcase their skills in one of four categories: vocal, rap, dance, or visual presentation. This focused approach allows candidates to highlight their strengths and make a lasting impression on YG’s talent scouts.

Those interested in auditioning can pre-register through the YG Audition website until November 10. Only selected applicants will receive a confirmation email for the second round, which will be sent out on November 20.

Founded by Yang Hyun-suk, a former member of the iconic K-pop group Seo Taiji and Boys, YG Entertainment has a long history of producing successful acts. The agency has been instrumental in shaping the K-pop landscape with artists like Akdong Musician, Winner, Treasure, and the recently debuted Babymonster.
