Zack Tabudlo Joins Mercury Records US, New Chapter for OPM

Filipino singer-songwriter Zack Tabudlo has taken a major step in his music career by signing with Mercury Records US. This label, which represents artists like Post Malone and Zayn Malik, now includes Zack in its roster. The announcement, made on February 19, marks a milestone for Original Pilipino Music (OPM) on the global stage.

A Dream Turned Reality

Zack shared his excitement on Instagram, reflecting on his journey from writing songs in his room to securing a deal with a major American record label. “After so many years in the making, we’re finally here. It’s funny how quickly life can turn around,” he wrote.

With billions of streams, Zack has built a loyal fan base in the Philippines and across Southeast Asia. His hits, including “Pano,” “Binibini,” and “Asan Ka Na Ba”, have cemented his status as a leading figure in OPM.

Gratitude and Future Plans

Zack expressed appreciation for his fans, family, and team, including Universal Music Group Philippines, which continues to support him. “You are the reason I started my journey with music. I couldn’t have done it without you,” he shared.

Looking ahead, Zack hinted at new music and upcoming projects. “Big things are coming,” he assured fans.

From Local to Global

Zack Tabudlo made his debut in 2018 with the single “Stay Here.” His 2023 album, “3rd Time’s A Charm,” showcased his most personal work. In April 2024, he held his first major concert, followed by a performance at South Korea’s Round Festival in July.

Mercury Records US, owned by Universal Music Group, represents a lineup of rising stars, including Jeremy Zucker and Stephen Sanchez. Zack’s inclusion signals another step in expanding OPM’s presence worldwide.
