Sam Milby has confirmed that he and Catriona Gray have parted ways. After months of speculation about their relationship status, the actor spoke candidly in an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN News.

When asked directly if they were still together, Sam answered simply, “No.” He added, “Kami ni Cat, we’ve always been private about our relationship.” He acknowledged that while they did share moments from their engagement, they kept most aspects of their personal lives private.

The couple began their relationship in 2020, and in February 2023, they publicly announced their engagement. However, just a year later, sharp-eyed fans noticed that Catriona had deleted their engagement post on social media, sparking rumors of a breakup.

Despite the ongoing speculation, Sam stressed that no third party caused their split. “There was never a third party sa amin ni Cat. That needs to be cleared. There is no truth to it at all.”

Sam also addressed Catriona’s recent emotional reaction during TJ Monterde’s concert, where fans saw her in tears. Sam, who sat nearby, explained that he couldn’t speak for Catriona’s feelings. However, he assured fans that they were “okay” even after the concert, clarifying that they ended their relationship on good terms.

In light of the breakup, Sam expressed that he is focusing on his career and personal development. The actor is currently promoting his new movie, “Everything About My Wife,” alongside Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo. The film is set to hit cinemas on February 26, 2025.

Sam also took the opportunity to advise his followers to be cautious about online rumors. He stressed, “Please mag-ingat kayo sa mga nakikita n’yo sa online. If there’s no evidence, ‘wag niyong paniwalaan ‘yung nakikita n’yo.”
