Andi Eigenmann and Philmar Alipayo have set social media buzzing after netizens noticed that they no longer follow each other on Instagram. This has led to speculation about their relationship status.
Adding to the rumors, Eigenmann shared cryptic messages on her Instagram Stories. In one post, she referenced the Year of the Snake, writing, “I thought it was the Year of the Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing?” Another post featured a meme that read, “POV: when you’re one breakdown away from losing it, but an Instagram quote just told you to trust the process.”
She also shared a discussion with ChatGPT, questioning whether it’s suspicious if a friend asks for matching tattoos with someone else’s partner without permission. Later, she posted another message: “Took it personally because I never would’ve done it to you.”
Philmar’s Response to the Rumors
Alipayo, on the other hand, also posted a cryptic message. In his native language, he confirmed that what people were reading was true. He added, “You all can call me a cheater and ugly now. But thank you to the people who truly know me.”
This controversy comes less than a year after Alipayo was allegedly spotted talking with another woman, though the couple dismissed it at the time.
Despite the online speculation, both Eigenmann and Alipayo are still scheduled to attend a Valentine’s Day event in La Union on February 14 and 15.
The couple, who got engaged in 2020, shares two children, Lilo and Koa. Eigenmann also has a daughter, Ellie, from her previous relationship with actor Jake Ejercito.
Last year, they announced they were postponing their wedding following the death of Eigenmann’s mother, veteran actress Jaclyn Jose. In May 2024, Eigenmann addressed earlier breakup rumors, saying that her sadness was due to her mother’s passing and not relationship problems.
As of now, neither Eigenmann nor Alipayo has issued an official statement confirming or denying their breakup.
