BINI, the rising Filipina P-pop group, kicked off their highly anticipated “Grand Biniverse” concert series at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on November 16. However, due to the approaching Typhoon Pepito, the group and event organizers have decided to reschedule the second night of the concert, originally set for November 17, to November 19. The decision was made in response to warnings about heavy rainfall and possible disruptions caused by the storm.
The “Grand Biniverse” concert, which celebrates BINI’s success and their loyal fans, the Blooms, is now a three-night event, with the second night pushed to Tuesday, November 19, instead of Sunday. Concert organizers, ABS-CBN and Star Magic, confirmed that the first and third nights will go ahead as planned. Ticket holders for the November 17 show will still be able to attend on the rescheduled date, and those unable to make it can contact Ticketnet for a refund.
Star-Studded Performances and Guests
Special guests for the “Grand Biniverse”concert include OPM legends Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Gary Valenciano, and Vice Ganda, along with singer Maymay Entrata. The event also features performances by drag queens such as Precious Paula Nicole, Viñas Deluxe, and Eva Le Queen. In addition to the live audience, the concert is available for streaming on iWantTFC for those who want to watch from home.
BINI, composed of eight talented members—Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena—has been enjoying massive success this year with hits like “Pantropiko,” “Salamin, Salamin,” and their latest track “Cherry On Top.” The concert is a follow-up to their sold-out “Biniverse” concert series held in June at the New Frontier Theater and has already toured other cities like Baguio, Cebu, and General Santos.
Alongside the concerts, BINI is preparing to release albums for both local and international audiences by the end of the year. The group’s rise to fame has been documented in a special series on iWantTFC, with the second part, “Chapter 2: Here With You”, released on November 8.
Proceeds Supporting Typhoon Relief
As part of their commitment to giving back, BINI will also donate a portion of the proceeds from the “Grand Biniverse” concerts to the ABS-CBN Foundation to support those affected by Typhoon Pepito. This is not the first time the group has made a charitable contribution; last month, they donated one million pesos to victims of Tropical Storm Kristine.
The “Grand Biniverse” concert series continues to capture the excitement of P-pop fans across the country and is a major milestone in BINI’s rising career.
