BINI’s Aiah recently addressed online speculation about her personal life. The rumors began after fans spotted her at a PBA game between Rain or Shine Elasto Painters and TNT Tropang Giga on March 5 at the Araneta Coliseum.
Aiah took to social media to respond to the ongoing gossip. While she did not name anyone, many believe she was referring to rumors linking her to Rain or Shine player Caelan Tiongson.
She expressed frustration, saying she often sees people she spends time with being wrongly linked to her.
“Almost everyone I hang out with—friends, superiors, or even relatives—gets linked to me, which I find unfortunate,” she wrote.
She also urged fans and followers to be mindful before jumping to conclusions.
“There are so many sides and truths that people don’t see. I just hope we can be kind to one another because kindness is free.”
Aiah acknowledged that she usually ignores rumors, but this time, she felt the need to speak up. She shared her concern about how the online discussion affected people close to her.
Caelan Tiongson also addressed the rumors. In a previous interview, he clarified that he met Aiah through a mutual friend at church.
“All I’m going to say is that she’s a really great person. But I’m not going to speak on her personal life,” he said.
Meanwhile, Rain or Shine coach Charles Tiu added to the buzz by commenting “BINI” on Caelan’s Instagram post. Caelan replied, “[N]ot you, too!!”, further fueling online discussions.
The sighting of Aiah at the PBA game sparked conversations across social media. Some fans supported her, while others speculated about her connection with Caelan. Despite the noise, Aiah remained firm in her call for kindness and understanding.
She ended her post on a lighthearted note, joking that her dog, Honey, might be the next one caught in rumors.
