K-pop star Kai from the boy band EXO will bring his solo concert tour, “KAION,” to Manila on July 27, 2025. The event will take place at the Araneta Coliseum, as announced by PULP Live World on X.
The tour will begin in Seoul on May 17 before heading to various Asian cities. Here are the confirmed dates and venues:
- May 17 (Saturday) – Seoul (Olympic Handball Gymnasium)
- May 24 (Saturday) – Kuala Lumpur (Mega Star Arena)
- June 7 (Saturday) – Macau (The Londoner Arena)
- June 14 (Saturday) – Jakarta (Tennis Indoor Senayan)
- June 21 (Saturday) – Singapore (The Star Theatre)
- July 12 (Saturday) – Taipei (Taipei Music Center)
- July 27 (Sunday) – Manila (Araneta Coliseum)
- August 2 (Saturday) – Bangkok (Thunder Dome)
- August 6-7 (Wednesday-Thursday) – Yokohama (Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall)
- August 16-18 (Saturday-Monday) – Hong Kong (AsiaWorld-Expo, Hall 10)
Ticket prices for the Manila concert have yet to be announced. PULP Live World has encouraged fans to watch for updates on their official social media pages.
Kai completed his mandatory military service on February 10, 2025, after serving as a social service worker. His enlistment began on May 11, 2023. The “KAION” tour marks his return to the stage since finishing his service. This concert series will showcase his growth as a performer.
Kai, born Kim Jong-in, debuted with EXO in 2012. The group gained global fame with hits like “Growl,” “Ko Ko Bop,” and “Love Shot.” In 2020, Kai launched his solo career with a self-titled extended play (EP). He has since released two more EPs.
The “KAION” tour will feature Kai’s solo music, signature dance moves, and stage presence. Fans, known as EXO-Ls, eagerly await his return to live performances.
