The much-anticipated sequel, Hello, Love, Again, made waves at the box office, earning ₱245 million in just three days. It broke records for local films, with ₱85 million grossed on its premiere day alone.
Directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, the movie follows Joy (Kathryn Bernardo) and Ethan (Alden Richards) five years after Hello, Love, Goodbye. This sequel explores their evolving lives as Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs). Joy, now living in Canada, reflects on her journey after moving from Hong Kong.
Alden Richards thanked fans on social media for their overwhelming support. He shared a behind-the-scenes photo of a bonfire scene with Kathryn Bernardo. “It was all worth it, every step of the way!” Richards wrote, highlighting the team’s collaborative effort.
Hello, Love, Again premiered in 726 cinemas across the Philippines, making it one of the widest local releases ever. Internationally, it opened in Australia, New Zealand, the U.S., Canada, Saipan, and Guam. The global release will expand further on November 21, reaching the Middle East, including the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain.
The film, a collaboration between GMA Pictures and ABS-CBN’s Star Cinema, brought together two of the industry’s biggest stars. With over 1,000 cinemas worldwide screening the movie, Hello, Love, Again is making its mark as a global success.
As the run continues, expectations remain high for its performance in both local and international markets.
