P-pop group BINI, the pride of the Philippines, is gaining recognition on the international music scene. The eight-member P-pop girl group has earned a nomination for the prestigious Best Asia Act award. This nomination comes from the 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs).

BINI is joining the competition alongside ILLIT from South Korea, Mahalini from Indonesia, Masdo from Malaysia, and Sakurazaka46 from Japan. This nomination is a major milestone for BINI. They are competing against some of the most prominent Asian acts in the industry.

The group’s nomination comes hot on the heels of their viral hits “Pantropiko” and “Salamin, Salamin,” which catapulted them to stardom earlier this year. Their English track “Cherry On Top” further cemented their position as a rising force in the global music scene.

As BINI prepares for their highly anticipated three-night concert, “Grand Biniverse,” at the Araneta Coliseum in November, this EMA nomination serves as a testament to their growing popularity and talent.
