Get ready, EverAfters! The Gen Z princesses of K-pop, UNIS, are returning to the Philippines for their first-ever fancon.
Universal Records Philippines dropped the exciting news on social media, announcing that the “UNIS in CURIOUSland” fancon will occur on October 25, 7 p.m., at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City. They have yet to announce more dates, as well as ticketing and venue details, so stay tuned!
The group’s Filipino fans, fondly called EverAfters, are undoubtedly thrilled as they prepare to make a splash in the country once again. In fact, just a few months ago, the girls visited Manila and Cebu for their “U&iS Fansign Philippine Tour,” leaving a lasting impression on their Filipino supporters.
The girl group officially debuted in March this year after captivating audiences during the South Korean reality competition “Universe Ticket.” Their debut mini-album, “We Unis,” showcased their unique blend of pop and R&B, featuring tracks like “Superwoman,” “Butterfly’s Dream,” “Whatchu Need,” “Dopamine,” and “Dream of Girls.”
The group’s lineup includes South Korean members Bang Yunha, Lim Seowon, and Oh Yoona; Japanese members Nana and Kotoko; Filipinas Elisia Parmisano and Gehlee Dangca; and Filipino-Korean Jin Hyeon Ju. Three of the eight members, Gehlee, Elisia, and Jin Hyeon Ju, have Filipino heritage, making their return to the Philippines even more special.
