John Prats Biography

John Paulo Quiambao Prats popularly known as John Prats was born on February 14, 1984 in Manila, Philippines. He is known to many as a good actor, comedian, TV Host, model, entrepreneur and a dancer. John is the older brother of Camille Prats another actress in Philippine showbiz. He is the son of Daniel Rafael who is from Manila and Alma Prats from Pampanga. John has two brothers and two sisters. He went to school in OB Montessori and ABS-CBN DLC (Distance Learning Center). He is a graduate of Business Management at Thames International Business School.

John, like many actors and actresses started out as a child star in the year 1992. He is a member of Talent Center an ABS-CBN Circle of Homegrown Talents. This is now called Star Magic which is co-managed by ALV Talent Circuit. He is known to be the Prince of Dance and Dance Floor Dynamite in the Philippines. John has renewed a contract with ABS-CBN in the year 2008 for several projects. Aside from being a good actor he is also a car enthusiast. With this hobby of his, he customizes cars and also is an active member of a group who also indulges in this activity. He actively joins in different car shows here in the Philippines.

John Prats is a jack of all trades. Like his parents, he is also a young entrepreneur. He has a business which specializes in real estate. He also owns a company named Dynamite Pixographics, Inc. a billboard printing business. He is also a business partner for his dad’s business in their advertising agency Ad Gateway Incorporated. John has bagged so many awards and has appeared in various movies and television series. He also has Dance Albums.

Some of his recognitions are: Best Supporting Actor at the 54th FAMAS Awards for Ako Legal Wife: Mano Po 4 and Top 10 Cosmo Bachelors of 2006, World CARP (World Collegiate Association for the Research of Principles), appointed as "Collegiate Ambassador for Peace" (December 2007–present).
