Barbie Forteza confirmed her breakup with Jak Roberto on Thursday, January 2, 2025, after seven years together. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Forteza described their separation as a “beautiful goodbye,” reflecting on the love, laughter, and memories they shared throughout their relationship.

“‘Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened – Dr. Seuss. Having you in my life was the happiest I had ever been. Seven wonderful years. A lot of laughs, a lot of ramen, and so much love. Your love was exceptional,” she wrote, alongside photos of their past dates at an intimate restaurant and a shake shop.

Forteza took a moment to express her gratitude for the time they spent together. “But sometimes, good things fall apart so better things can come together,” she added, acknowledging the natural course of life and change. The actress reflected on their shared journey, recognizing that while they may have grown apart, the memories and experiences they created together will always hold a special place in her heart.

In her post, Forteza thanked Jak for his love and support, saying, “You take care of yourself. May you find the love you deserve.” She also asked for privacy as both she and Jak move forward separately.

The couple first sparked rumors of their relationship in July 2017, when Forteza posted photos with a mystery individual, who was later revealed to be Jak. Weeks after the speculations began, they confirmed their relationship. Over the years, they appeared together in several popular teleseryes, including Kara Mia and The Half Sisters, which further strengthened their bond and connection.

Roberto has yet to comment on their breakup, leaving the public to respect their privacy as they navigate this new chapter in their lives. Despite their split, Forteza remains hopeful for the future, both personally and professionally. She also remains grateful for the love they shared.
