For the first time, GMA Network and ABS-CBN are teaming up to bring a special edition of Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) to viewers. They announced the collaboration on January 28, 2025, during a contract signing inside the PBB House.
The Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition will air on GMA as part of PBB’s 20th anniversary. The show will feature artists from Sparkle GMA Artist Center and ABS-CBN’s Star Magic, making this season more exciting than ever.
Top executives from both networks attended the event. Representing GMA Network were President and CEO Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr., Senior Vice President for Programming Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, and other key officials. ABS-CBN was represented by Chairman Mark Lopez, President and CEO Carlo L. Katigbak, and COO Cory V. Vidanes.
Duavit shared his thoughts on the partnership, saying, “We are pleased to collaborate with ABS-CBN once again—this time to bring a special edition of Pinoy Big Brother to our Kapuso and Kapamilya audiences.”
Gozon-Valdes also expressed her excitement, saying, “We are very excited to collaborate with ABS-CBN to bring Pinoy Big Brother to Filipino audiences. Abangan ninyo ang pagsasama ng mga Kapuso at Kapamilya housemates sa teleserye ng totoong buhay.”
Vidanes highlighted the importance of this moment, stating, “On the 20th year of PBB, we are doing this special collaboration with GMA. This is a moment that will go down in history.”
This season will bring housemates from both networks together inside Bahay ni Kuya. Viewers can look forward to new friendships, challenges, and surprises throughout the show.
The partnership follows past successful projects between GMA and ABS-CBN, such as “Unbreak My Heart,” “It’s Showtime,” and “Hello, Love, Again.”
