Kapamilya actress Barbie Imperial addressed accusations about her involvement in Richard Gutierrez’s separation from Sarah Lahbati. In the comments section of Imperial’s recent Instagram post, a netizen seemingly attempted to “shame” the actress by calling her a third party but not directly indicating which relationship he or she was referring to.
A netizen left a comment on Barbie’s post, questioning her character.
“Anong klase ng babae ka? Hindi ko matanggap. Pinaka ayoko sa lahat is ‘yung third party. Kahit saan mo tingnan, hindi pa annulled ‘yung mag-asawa pero and’yan ka na.”

Barbie replied directly “Anong third party pinagsasabi mo?”
Though the comment did not mention names, Barbie has been linked to Richard Gutierrez. His marriage to Sarah Lahbati is currently undergoing annulment.
The young actress’ response came after her rumored boyfriend Richard Gutierrez opened up about their relationship for the first time, clarifying that he met Imperial long after his separation from his estranged wife Sarah Lahbati.
In a recent interview with Ogie Diaz, Richard addressed the rumors. He denied that Barbie played a role in his separation from Sarah.
“Ang gusto ko lang sigurong i-clarify doon sa mga tao is that si Barbie, walang kinalaman sa paghihiwalay namin ni Sarah. Hindi siya third party, hindi nag-overlap.”
He also pointed out that their relationship status remains open to interpretation.
“Siguro for now, like gaya nga ng sabi mo, nakikita naman ng mga tao. Doon muna tayo sa what you see is what you get sa amin ni Barbie.”
Richard emphasized that he met Barbie long after he and Sarah had already gone their separate ways.
