Kathryn Bernardo Joins 'Pilipinas Got Talent' as a Judge • PINOYSTOP

Kathryn Bernardo takes on a new role as a judge on Pilipinas Got Talent (PGT) Season 7. This comes after her success in the record-breaking film Hello, Love, Again. She joins a panel featuring Donny Pangilinan, Eugene Domingo, and returning judge Freddie “FMG” Garcia.

PGT, the popular reality talent competition, finally returns after a six-year break. The new season premieres in March on ABS-CBN. Meanwhile, the show’s official social media pages confirmed the lineup of judges on February 21.

Kathryn calls this opportunity a good “breaker” between projects. “This is another first for me, and I want to experience it,” she said in an interview with TV Patrol.

The judging panel brings together different perspectives:

Freddie “FMG” Garcia – A veteran in the entertainment industry.
Eugene Domingo – A renowned actress and comedian.
Donny Pangilinan – A rising star representing the younger generation.
Kathryn Bernardo – A celebrated actress known for her heartfelt performances.

Eugene shared her thoughts on the dynamic panel, saying, “FMG is the authority. I add the fun. Kathryn is the heart. And Donny represents the young generation.”

Donny Pangilinan looks forward to the season, saying, “I’m eager to see what the Philippines has to offer.” He also expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him as a first-time judge.

FMG, a veteran of the show, shared his excitement, saying, “It’s been so long.”

PGT last aired in 2018, with Kristel de Catalina, a spiral pole dancer, winning Season 6. This time, the competition welcomes contestants of all ages. Solo acts, duos, and groups can audition.

Melai Cantiveros and Robi Domingo meanwhile will serve as hosts.

Since its debut in 2010, PGT has launched the careers of winners like Jovit Baldivino and Marcelito Pomoy. Season 7 promises to be an exciting return for Filipino entertainment, especially with fresh talents and a new panel.
