TV host KaladKaren had her dream wedding take an unexpected turn when a thick fog descended upon her English clifftop ceremony. But as the fog cleared, revealing a breathtaking view, the couple’s love story became even more magical.

KaladKaren, whose legal name is Jervi Li, and her British fiancé, Luke Wrightson, tied the knot in a picturesque 18th-century hotel overlooking Robin’s Hood Bay in North Yorkshire. The couple had envisioned a sunny day with panoramic views, but fate had other plans.

“Luke and I dreamed for a beautiful sunny day in this fantastic cliff top wedding venue in England,” KaladKaren shared on Instagram. “It’s supposed to have the best overlooking views in North Yorkshire.” However, on their wedding day, the fog rolled in, obscuring the scenery.

Far from being disappointed, KaladKaren embraced the unexpected twist. “And hey, who else can say they got married in the clouds?!” she exclaimed. The foggy backdrop added a touch of mystery and enchantment to their special day.

The bride, a known mermaid enthusiast, wore a stunning strapless serpentine gown by Filipino designer Francis Libiran. The gown, adorned with crystals and coral appliques, complemented her mermaid-inspired vision. “I’ve always been fascinated by mermaids because of their magical, mystical, and very feminine characters,” she admitted.

Surrounded by their closest friends and family, KaladKaren and Luke exchanged vows in a ceremony filled with love and laughter. The fog may have obscured the physical view, but their hearts were clear and their love shone brightly.

As the fog began to lift, the couple was treated to a breathtaking revelation. The clifftop venue, once shrouded in mist, now revealed its full glory. The panoramic views, which had been hidden, were even more stunning than they had imagined.
