BLACKPINK’s Jisoo was spotted at Cebu Airport in the Philippines on February 8, 2025. Fans quickly noticed the K-pop star, who wore a gray sweater, black pants, and a black newsboy cap, surrounded by airport security. While the reason for her visit remains unconfirmed, many believe she is there to film her upcoming K-drama, Boyfriend on Demand.
Jisoo is starring in Boyfriend on Demand, a drama about a webtoon producer named Seo Mi Rae, played by Jisoo. In the drama, Seo Mi Rae wants to find love but avoids real-life problems. She uses a virtual dating game called Monthly Boyfriend, where she can date 900 different men without any consequences.
Jisoo’s co-star in the drama, Seo In Guk, plays Park Gyeong Nam. The two have filmed together in the Philippines, and fans can’t wait to see their chemistry on screen. The drama also includes other actors like Ryu Abel, Kang Min Woo, and Song Ha Na. It is set to be one of the most talked-about dramas of 2025.
In addition to acting, Jisoo has been working on her music. She recently announced her first solo fan meet tour called Lights, Love, Action! after releasing her EP Amortage. The tour will bring her to cities across Asia, including Manila, Bangkok, and Tokyo. Amortage features four songs: Earthquake, Your Love, Tears, and Hugs & Kisses, showcasing Jisoo’s growing skills as a solo artist.
