K-Pop sensation KATSEYE took the Philippines by storm with their energetic performance of “Touch” on the popular noontime show “It’s Showtime.” The global girl group, comprised of members Sophia, Manon, Daniela, Lara, Megan, and Yoonchae, left the Madlang People and Filipino EYEKONs in awe with their captivating stage presence and powerful vocals.
The group’s appearance delighted Filipino fans, especially with their leader Sophia, a proud Filipina, on the show. Her supportive parents, Carla Guevara and Chef Godfrey Laforteza, were also present.
Following their performance, KATSEYE took to Instagram to express their gratitude for the warm welcome they received. “Felt the touch of your love,” they wrote, sharing a photo from their guest.
KATSEYE’s visit to the Philippines was part of their “Touchdown in Manila” fan showcase, held on September 18 at Taguig City. Prior to the event, the group conducted a press conference where they shared their excitement and anticipation for meeting their Filipino fans.
The talented girl group formed through the survival show “The Debut: Dream Academy.” They made their official debut under HYBE Labels and Geffen Records in June and released their first EP, “SIS (Soft Is Strong),” in August.
