Kris Aquino is making her highly anticipated comeback to ABS-CBN with a new show set to launch before the end of the year. The announcement comes alongside a positive update on her health condition, marking a significant milestone in her journey.
In an Instagram post, Kris shared details of her upcoming project, expressing gratitude to her former ABS-CBN bosses for the opportunity. While the specific concept remains under wraps, fans can expect to see a glimpse into her present-day life, including her experiences with her sons Josh and Bimby, her extended family, and her dedicated team of doctors.
Despite facing a multitude of health challenges, including life-threatening autoimmune diseases, Kris remains determined and resilient. She revealed that she has been diagnosed with five, possibly six autoimmune conditions, three of which pose a serious risk to her vital organs and blood vessels.
Battling Health Challenges with Strength
“I now have 5, possibly 6 autoimmune conditions. But the scary part is that 3 of the diagnosed ones are life-threatening in other words- pwedeng ma-damage my vital organs or my blood vessels, specifically my artery connecting my lungs to my heart- to the extent na I can die immediately from a stroke or aneurysm or cardiac arrest,” Kris shared candidly.
Despite the gravity of her health issues, Kris remains optimistic and focused on her goals. She emphasized her unwavering commitment to her dreams and aspirations, vowing to never give up.
“I promised myself bawal sumuko. I need a goal, something for all of us to look forward to,” she said, expressing her desire to inspire and uplift her fans through her work.
